Russ, from Cleveland, Ohio like myself...is my brother @
heart and in spirit....we spent alot of our young days
going through lifes experiences and being moulded into
who we are now....and believe me, we've been through alot
of experiences.
You have certainly heard him playing on some popular
artist Cd whether you new it was him or not. He played on
the likes of Levert, O'Jays, Mickey Howard, Rude Boys and
the list goes on and on. He's been known as one of the
baddest sax players since he was a youngster.......I
remember we went to a Grover Washington concert, Russ
went back stage and met Grover, then played one of Grover
Washingtons songs (Mister Magic)...when Russ was done
Grover gave him every card and phone number he could
think of to make sure Russ could contact him....Russ even
got the back-ground singers contact info.
